Living Yoga…

Late 1998 saw the beginning of a relentless and vicious cycle of
chronic pain with increasing disability for me, aged 50, culminating
in episodes of acute on chronic pain in 2001/2002. I traveled
interstate on many occasions in the hope of finding relief - all
to no avail. I finally found that relief in my home town, Alice
Springs, in the form of Hatha Yoga.

What Yoga means to me

When I sat down to writing this article on yoga I found myself getting
caught up in beautiful words and concepts, moving away from the nitty
gritty, the practical and tangible, the smelly and juicy stuff of
yoga so to speak. It’s easy to move in the lofty realms of
thoughts and ideas - they are much cleaner and neater than our own
complex self.
