Transport

Public transport is available by rail or bus to Gosford and bus to Mangrove Mountain. Please phone a day in advance to book collection.

Local bus times:

Mon-Fri 7.15am bus (departs Mangrove Creek Rd)

Mon-Fri 2.17pm bus, 3.17pm bus (departs Gosford railway station)

Please note the 2:17pm service only operates during public school term.

Sat - 9.29am bus, 4.49pm bus (departs Somersby shops)

Sat - 8.57am bus, 4.17pm bus (departs Gosford)

Sundays only - Gosford railway station drop off and pick up 4.30pm

If you need to be collected from the bus or the station please ring the centre well in advance. A fee applies for collection from locations other than the local bus stop. There is a shuttle bus available from Sydney airport which needs to be booked in advance, phone Aussie Shuttles 1300 130 557.

Driving Directions

From Sydney: take Peats Ridge exit off the freeway (next exit after the Mt White exit). Keep left on the freeway exit. After 14.9 kilometres turn left into George Downes Drive marked “Central Mangrove & Wisemans Ferry”. 2.4 km later turn left into Wisemans Ferry Road marked “Mangrove Mountain & Wisemans Ferry”. After 16.2km turn right into Mangrove Creek Road, travel 3.1km and on the right is Satyananda Yoga Mangrove.

N.B. “Greengrove” is not the yoga centre.

From Newcastle: take the Somersby Interchange off the Freeway, take the 2nd exit marked “Peats Ridge and Central Mangrove". Turn right at T intersection into Wisemans Ferry Road. After 21km turn right into Mangrove Creek Road, travel 3.1km and on the right is Satyananda Yoga Mangrove.
