Satyananda Yoga AcademySatyananda Yoga has been taught in Australia for close to thirty years. Satyananda Yoga Academy Australasia was established in 1997 to integrate and enhance the professional training of Satyananda Yoga in Australasia. In 2003, the Academy became a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and the Diploma of Satyananda Yoga Teaching was accredited under the Australian Qualification Training Framework. The Academy is the communication point with Bihar Yoga Bharati Yoga University in India and oversees the development of Satyananda Yoga in the Australasian region. It aims to create a structure which meets the highest international standards in training & learning of yogic disciplines and the practical experience of yogic lifestyle. It provides a system of accreditation for Satyananda Yoga teachers and supports them in the operation of their teaching businesses through an affiliation system. Satyananda Yoga Academy conducts the Diploma of Satyananda Yoga Teaching at Satyananda Yoga Mangrove and Satyananda Yoga Rocklyn.
