Satyananda Yoga Mangrove (near Sydney)
Satyananda Yoga Mangrove is nestled within an intensely beautiful
natural environment – surrounded by bushland and on the banks
of a swimming river. Only an hour and a half drive from Sydney or
40 minutes from Gosford, Satyananda Yoga Mangrove rests within
an area traditionally belonging to the Darkinjung people.
There are wallabies and lyrebirds, misty mornings and glorious afternoons,
friendly people to talk with, great walks and swimming and the space
to unwind, rest and simply be.
A vibrant yogic sangha (community) of 50 plus residents
run the centre. Many of these are yoga teachers or practitioners
of many years’ experience who will chat to you over a
cup of tea about any number of yogic topics.
Satyananda Yoga Mangrove conducts week-end or week long courses
along with personal yoga retreats. It is also the NSW venue
for the Diploma of Satyananda Yoga Teaching conducted by Satyananda
Yoga Academy.

Satyananda Yoga Rocklyn (near Melbourne)
The beautiful rammed earth buildings of this residential yoga centre
blend in with the peaceful bush setting of in the heart of the eucalypt
forest. The centre is near Daylesford, and only a one and quarter
hour drive from Melbourne.

Rocklyn focuses on providing an experience of traditional
ashram life. The thriving community of residents offer support
and hospitality to visitors who wish to join in and share the
experience of a yogic lifestyle.
Satyananda Yoga Rocklyn conducts short and long courses along
with personal yoga retreats and the Living Consciously themed
programs. It is also the Victorian venue for the Diploma of
Satyananda Yoga Teaching conducted by Satyananda Yoga Academy. |
