Mangrove Yoga Ashram residents, Swamis Yogasandhan & Karmayogini, are taking a no frills seva yoga (selfless service) group to India in November 2012. The focus of the visit is to experience seva yoga in the lead up to and during the Sita Kalyanam festival (Sat Chandi Maha Yajna) in the Rikhia ashram. Travelling in a group is an easy introduction for those new to the Indian experience or those visiting our ashrams for the first time. It is also a very busy time for the Rikhia ashram with hundreds of participants arriving from all over the world. Arriving with a group makes it easy for the ashram to coordinate, as accommodation and seva duties can be arranged through the group leaders.
The itinerary is as follows:
Leave Australia on the 26th of November
2 nights in Kolkata
Train to Munger – stay for 5 days
Bus/sumo (depending on numbers) to Rikhia on 4th Dec
Stay in Rikhia for the Maha samadhi celebrations (5th/6th Dec) and Sita Kalyanam (14th - 17th)
18th train to Kolkata
20th Dec fly back to Sydney.
Flight numbers and times are
TG472 leaving Sydney at 4.30 pm on 26-11-12
TG313 from Bangkok arriving in Kolkata on 27-11-12, 12.30 am.
TG314 leaving Kolkata 20-12-12, 10.30 pm

A mountain is composed of tiny grains of earth. The ocean is made up of tiny drops of water. Even so, life is but an endless series of little details, actions, speech and thoughts. And the consequences, whether good or bad of even the least of them, are far-reaching.
